This page explains how to request deletion of your Barqly, Barqly Partner, or Barqly Rider account, where to find the in-app deletion flow, what data is removed from the live platform, and what records may still be retained.
Before you delete
What Barqly requires before account deletion.
EligibilityActive work must be finished first
Accounts with active orders or deliveries cannot be deleted until those workflows are completed or cancelled.
Immediate effectLive access is removed right away
Once deletion succeeds, the account is signed out and access to the live marketplace is removed.
Record handlingSome records may still be retained
Barqly may retain archived or legally required records for compliance, fraud prevention, recovery, audits, and dispute resolution.
Customer AppBarqly
Use this flow if you want to remove your Barqly customer account, saved addresses, favorites, and live customer access.
In-app steps
- Open the app
- Go to Profile
- Open Personal details
- Tap Delete account
What changes after deletion
- Live customer access is removed immediately.
- Saved addresses and favorites are removed from the live app profile.
- Your cart and notification preferences are cleared from active app use.
Partner AppBarqly Partner
Use this flow if you want to remove store access for your Barqly Partner account and take the live vendor profile offline.
In-app steps
- Open the app
- Go to Settings
- Open the Legal section
- Tap Delete account
What changes after deletion
- Live partner access is removed immediately.
- Your live store profile is taken offline.
- Store operations stop from the deleted account.
Rider AppBarqly Rider
Use this flow if you want to remove your rider access from the live network and stop using the Barqly Rider app.
In-app steps
- Open the app
- Go to Profile
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm the deletion request
What changes after deletion
- Live rider access is removed immediately.
- The rider account is forced offline.
- Live rider location stops being used for dispatch after deletion.
Data HandlingWhat gets deleted,

Barqly removes live access from the platform after a successful deletion request, but may retain certain archived and legally required records as described below.
- Live account access is removed from the relevant Barqly app.
- Customer saved addresses and favorites are removed from active use.
- Partner store access is removed and the vendor profile is taken offline.
- Rider status is set offline and live dispatch location is cleared from active use.
- Archived account snapshots may be retained for admin recovery, compliance review, audit needs, fraud prevention, and dispute handling.
- Completed order, payout, transaction, support, or legally required records may be retained where necessary.
- Barqly does not currently publish one universal retention period for every record type because retention may vary by legal, operational, and accounting obligations.
